The Heart Wall
Do you remember ever feeling like your heart was breaking? This physical sensation is where words like heartache and heartbreak come from. The heart is the core and the essence of your being. It is absolutely critical to the health of both your physical body and your spiritual body as well.
When you go through something really painful and the heart is in danger of breaking or being damaged, the subconscious mind can organize excess energies in the body to create a barrier around the heart, to prevent that damage from occurring. Trapped emotions are the most common excess energy in the body for nearly everyone, so they are what is used to build the Heart-Wall. This self-protective mechanism can be thought of as a bomb shelter. It’s the perfect kind of protection while the bombs are falling, or when you’re going through a painful or difficult time. But if you live long-term under that protective barrier, you’re going to miss out on the best things in life! The Heart-Wall acts like a buffer, keeping you numb to the extreme emotional pain that you might otherwise feel deeply, but at the same time, it will also numb you out to feeling joy and other positive emotions. It will also keep you from truly connecting with others, block love from getting in and out, and keep you from creating and achieving the desires of your heart (we call this an abundance block!).
Your heart is not only the core of who you are emotionally, but it is now known to be a second brain, continually sending messages to the entire body. More information is constantly being discovered about how important the heart really is. Becoming Heart-Wall free may be the most vital remedy for living your life to the fullest and maximizing your potential!
